Founded in 1985 and located in the Vinho Verde region, Quinta das Arcas is also one of the largest vineyard owners in the region, with 285 hectares spread over four estates: Quinta das Arcas, Quinta da Costa, Quinta da Gandra and Quinta do Villar.
History and Expansion
In the early 2000s, the family behind Quinta das Arcas expanded its horizons by creating Herdade Penedo Gordo in Borba. This impressive property simultaneously includes 200 hectares of vineyards and 20 hectares of olive groves, where the highest quality organic olive oil is produced. In addition, the Herdade offers luxury accommodation with three suites and four bedrooms, providing a truly unforgettable wine tourism experience.
